Christmas Eve Update (Pre-Hawaii Bowl)

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Bowl Season-

Thank you for being patient before the first scoring update of the season.  We are through the first six bowl games with the seventh being played tonight in Hawaii.

Since the Bowl Season is so dynamic and changes with every game, we track scoring in multiple ways:

1.)  Total Points Won:  Most simply, this is the total number of points that have been won on the games so far.  This gives you a picture of who leads in the category that matters the most at the end.
Current top 5:
  • Flute with no Holes- 134
  • RipperRipski- 125
  • Bull Rob- 120 (also in top 5 of best possible)
  • Juice- 113
  • Stumblin' Drunks- 102
2.)  Best Possible Score:  Since everyone risks different amounts on each game, the best total possible column tells who has the most points left, combined with winnings.  In the past, this column gives a great storyline of competitors that may be lurking behind the top in total points.
Current Top 5:
  • Schematic Advantage: 719.5 possible (#67 overall)
  • Bull Rob:  677.5 possible (#3 overall)
  • GDBITHOF:  670.5 possible (#30 overall)
  • Snowflake:  665 possible (#69 overall)
  • Guy behind the Guy- 664 possible (#31 overall) *Formerly Mr. Lou
3.)  Highest % of points won:  This tracks the number of points won based on how many have been risked. This score tells us who is being most accurate in both their picks and in what they have risked.
Current Top 5:
  • The Locksmith:  97.44% of points won
  • Hollywood Hussiion:  95.08% of points won
  • John Force:  91% of points won
  • Beaver Believer:  90.48% of points won
  • Ripper Ripski:  87.41%
The photo updates give you a look at the top 69 in all categories.

As for the game this evening, here is how the picks break down:
  • 669 points on Fresno State to cover (13th most picked bet of the bowl season)
  • 188 points on SMU to cover
  • 181 points on the over
  • 20 points on the under
The next update will come on Thursday morning.  Until then, enjoy the football and your holiday.
As always, holler with questions.

With Holiday Love,
Deeds,
