CFGL 7 RULES

Each member picks 5 regular games a week and a Dog Game. Your one weekly power game is worth 10 pts. Each regular game is worth 7 points, a tie worth 3, and each bonus “Dog Game” is dependant upon your bet. (See Dog Game below). At the end of the regular season, the player with the most points wins the title.

WAYS TO PICK

*Straight up is picking a game using the spread or over/under.

Going 5 for 5 in a week (not including your Dog Game) will get you a 20 pt bonus.

*Stacking games is the option of putting more points on a single game. If you love a game, you can make it worth 2, 3, 4 or all 5 of your weekly games. A 3 stack is worth 21 points (3 games x7 points) a 4 stack is worth 28 pts, etc.

*Parlay. For a chance to win more points, parlay your games. To parlay, group games together for bonus points. You can group games in 2,3,4, or 5. Every team in the parlay group must win to get points otherwise you lose the entire group. Here are the extra points awarded for parlays:

Odds on parlay-
2 team- extra 5 pts
3 team- extra 20 pts
4 team- extra 35 pts
5 team- extra 50 pts

*Moneyline the underdogs to earn more points. If you like an underdog to win the game straight up, without the points, pick the money line and you win the points of the spread. So, if you pick the Irish money line on a +5 game, and they win straight up, you win an extra 5 points on top of your game (12 total pts). If they cover the spread, but don’t win, you lose.

GAMES TO PICK EACH WEEK

*POWER CONFERENCE GAMES
Before the season starts, each member will pick a Power Conference. Every week you must pick at least one game from your Power Conference. This game will be worth 10 pts each week instead of the regular 7 pts.

Power Weeks will be chosen once a season. This means once a season you select a week and pick all 5 games from your Power Conference. All 5 games will be worth 10 pts per game instead of 7. This year you can stack, parlay, or moneyline your power week. So theoretically, you can 5 stack one game for your Power Week and have a 50 pt game.


*BINDING CONFERENCE GAMES (7 Pts)
Each week, members will have to pick one designated conference game per the schedule below. So one week will be Big East week, then Mountain West week, etc. If you fail to pick the Binding Conference game, you will be penalized a won game that week. Here’s the schedule. Please note that Week 14 and Week 15 have a different format.

WEEK 14- CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK
Each week you will bet an underdog for the points they give up. If you take the Irish +5, you get 5 points if the Irish win. If they don’t win, you don’t get points but you don’t lose points either. This game is separate from your other 5 weekly game. It’s purely bonus, so no stacking or parlaying. (Basically a money line game without a penalty)

CONFERENCES
Once we have a confirmed number of members, we’ll randomly pick conferences.
This year if you have the highest amount of points in your conference for the week, you’ll win 10 bonus points. If there is a tie for the highest amount of points in the conference, all players tied will get 5 points each.
