Last night's Cotton Bowl seems to have ended the dream for some significant CFGL Champion hopefuls. Arkansas won and covered in a less than spectacular game with a 29-16 victory.
Last night's game going under means that the Well Hungarians jump into second place, a mere 6.5 points behind our leader. The bad news is that due to similar picks, the Hungarian Dream will fall short of a championship again.
As we projected last night, the Arkansas cover has eliminated both Coach and Twinsons from contention for the Bowl Championship. Coach does go home with the distinction of being the highest scoring member of the Johnson household...but only until Mr. Kasey Johnson marries his daughter in May.
As for those that still count towards the title, the Razorback win has put TP3 in the driver's seat of every statistical category that matters. The school principal from New Orleans has run up 394.5 points with a league leading, improbable, and amazing 70% conversion rate on his points risked. TP3 also holds a significant lead in Best Possible with 26 points more possible than Primetime, who has the most points left to risk. Dee's Pimpin' has hit 8 of 9 and with an under game picked today has a slight chance. The ball is going to have to bounce his way in the last three...
A more full update will happen after this afternoon's game.
