Mayhem officially hit the CFGL scoreboard last night with WVU's shocking upset of Clemson, 70-33.
38 of 49 players had Clemson and most for more than 25 points. Typically a game that is so heavily picked one way fails to have an impact on the leaderboard...last night was the exception because of WHO got the wins.
C'mon Rookie may have to change his name after showing a savvy veteran pick of WVU and scoring 15 points and hanging on to a place in the Top 5 of total possible.
TP3 is as red hot as the WVU offense was last night. The Mountaineers put up 70 and TP3 put up 20 to move within 1.5 points of the lead. He also holds the lead in Best Possible by a full 16 points over Primetime, who dropped 31 on Clemson.
The biggest surprise on the board, however, is our new overall points leader. It is not a surprise that he got there, just that he did it after his cold start this year...
Dee's Pimpin likely slept well after his 34 point game hit the over in the first half and he took over the total points lead. Dee's has his 7 of his last 8 and has converted 157 of his last 172 points. That 8 game span give him an unprecedented 92% conversion rate.
As for our former leaders, the Well Hungarians...they have lost 86 straight points but only fell to 3rd place, 2.5 points out of a tie for the lead. One must begin to wonder which of the 3 cock and balls trio has made the last three picks and whether or not this will still be a three man team next year. We all hate to see any C&B lose a testicle...
Drew Bledsoe, Twinsons, Wilson, Coach, and Primetime are now "below the radar", but have big points down the stretch that keep them in it.
With four games remaining, the field is wide open and we don't see any more games that are dominated by a particular pick. The CFGL is off on Thursday night and games return for a GIANT game between to "BCS-worthy" teams, Arkansas and KState. A full analysis of this and the rest of the games will be posted on Friday.
Enjoy an evening off of the drama.
