CFGLers-
After three straight games with extremely high conversions (Boise St.,SMiss, Mizzou) the CFGL enters a stretch of three games with an even distribution of picks.
- Tuesday afternoon's Purdue/WMU game has 22 Purdue picks, 18 WMU picks and nine who picked the O/U. I am sure that this is what Little Caesar envisioned when pitting these two powers against each other.
- The Belk Bowl, yes, Belk Bowl, matches NCST and Louisville in a game with picks split among the favorite, the dog and the over.
- Wednesday afternoon, MAC power Toledo is favored over the Air Force Academy in a game with an O/U of 70. Rookies Frank the Tank and Double Bird Strike have 33 and 32 points risked respectively on Toledo in this showdown.
- A Cal win over Texas would send shockwaves through The League as Texas is heavily picked to cover the 3.5 point spread. Last year's second place finisher Aunt Betty's Fried Chicken makes the 'Horns his top picks and Schematic Advantage risks 33.
Here are the picks for the next four games:

As for the Leaderboard, here are the highlights:
- Drew Bledsoe in the HOF, is making his play for League enshrinement with an incredible 87.5% of his points converted. This rookie is making a historic run of wins by winning his last seven picks. Early on he rode the underdog with Ohio, ULL, Marshall, and LaTech wins, and has converted 84 straight points. In fact, his % is misleading because his loss includes a moneyline pick, which means he has only given away his 5 point pick. His actual conversion rate is 84 of 89 and a dominant 93%.
- If Drew's historic streak falters, Jamie O'Hare is a rookie to watch for. Named after Vince Vaughn's character in Rudy, the greatest sports movie of all-time, O'Hare is showing as much heart as Ruettiger did. Currently in 4th place with 110 points, this duo has only given away 25 points in the first 7 games.
- iBlink is currently threatening to surpass the all-time
bowl season high score with a best possible of 653.5, helped by 23
points on $line/dog game picks. He has already hit his 34 and 28 point
game and has an gaudy 85% win percentage. The Blink has been a fixture
at the top of The League for years now and may cash in a bowl win this
year, if Bledsoe slips up.
- The Doctor has converted over 85% of his points and is taking the slow and steady approach to his games. Only having risked 61 points in 7 games means that The Doctor is around for the long haul. Winning three straight games didn't hurt either.
At the bottom of The League standings,
Drunken Sailor is picking like one, with his total possible the first to dip below 500.
Seminole26 is out of the office this week and has given away his 32, 33, and 34 point game.
Michigan Hates U seems to hate the bowl format with 26% converted, and the League wonders if
TP3,
Juice, and
Hammes will ever see the top again.
Enjoy the next couple of days of games. Next update comes Thursday morning.
