TEAM WIGLEY BACK IN THE 60’S. BARNDAWG PLAYS DEAD.

For the good of the League, it was the worst week of the year with a six-pack of donuts and a few stacks of suck. The Week6 average dipped to a mere 20.5 and only four members won their Independents game. To be fair, 18 others posted 3-point ties with the BYU/San Jose St game. Despite the 54 total points won on the BYU game, the tie killed four perfectos. Victims include TP3, Urban Cowboy, Scaga and Coach. As a result of the catastrophic game, Urban Cowboy was the only one of the four that won their conference. Also in Week6, Dog games only yielded 15.5 in Week6, compared to 154 last week. This week was also shitty for Power 5-stackers as Carolina Fire Ants, Mile High and Drunken Sailor all lost their lock of the year.

On the flip side of the Power 5-stack, Team Wigley wins 60 total points on her beloved Sooners and reclaims her conference crown on Planet Weis. After two weeks out of the Top 10, she heated up like the Oven of the past and jumped to #2 in the League. Former-champ Scaga got mormoned out of a perfecto and conference bonus, but still jumped five spots to #21. iBlink dropped a spot to #8 after a 14 as Deeds spiraled down eight more spots to #28. The Deeds average is now 14 points since breaking his “30 straight weeks not in the top ten” streak. His new streak looks solid at three.

The Shapiro All-Stars kept three representatives in the Top 10, but it’s not because of good play. Hammes faltered with a 0 for 6 to drop him from #3 to #9. Schematic Advantage dropped one in the overall standings to #5, but took over control of the conference with the 3-stack winner on LSU. Mentally Dernarded went 1 for 6 and posted a 7, but still rounds out the talent-stacked Top 10. The All-Stars bonus got split between #11 Air Raid and inconsistent veteran, #31 Wilson.

In the Testeverde Ten, Jamie O’Hare moved up one to #4 after his 24. Seminole26 went 4 for 5 in his Power Week and snagged the conference bonus, which moved the veteran from #34 to #15. La Maquina dropped two spots to #16.

The Wuerffel is still led by League leader Hack Attack, but his overall lead got cut down to 20 as TP3 posted a 34. Multi-Champion Urban Cowboy, aka Senor Liquid Sex, started his inevitable climb to the top with a 34, and moved up ten slots to #20. Barndawg continued his bad behavior with another parlay and his zero sent him from #9 to #19.

TP3 maintained control of the Heart Division and only dropped one spot to #3. The conference average was just over 15 and Michigan Hates U secured the bonus with his 31, which moved him up nine spots to #22. The Well Hungarians scrounged together a 17 and were lucky to only fall one spot to #7. Juice also scored 17 but he dropped two to #13. Head followed last week’s 7 with a zero and ended up at #48, just on top of Mile High and 28 points ahead of Mr. Kasey Johnson.

Below are some of the games that had an impact in Week6.

LSU +107
Oklahoma +106
ASU +68
BYU (tie) +54
Oregon over (-158)
VTech (-78)
Nebraska (-45)

This next week we’re back in actual conferences. Kind of. It’s MAC Week.

A quick recap on Power Weeks: Once this season, you can pick a Power Week, where all 5 games (not dog game) are within your power conference and worth 10 points each. As you saw this week, you can 5-stack.

Holle with questions.

The Commissioner
